Garner Roberts (Secretary)

Garner Roberts worked as a Commercial Director and Company Secretary for over 20 years in Hawker Siddeley Power Engineering, Hawker Siddeley International and Rolls Royce Power Engineering. Work involved all commercial and business aspects of power engineering as well as financing both through project funding and export guaranteed funding.

Before fully retiring Garner also ran a Commercial Consultancy for three years after having retired from R-R. He has been involved with setting up new businesses as well as being involved with mergers and take-overs and has experience in the process of due diligence.

Garner was in the forefront of setting up Risk Assessment systems in Rolls-Royce and has subsequently introduced and mentored RA systems in a variety of businesses and charities.

Became a Trustee of Fenland Archaeological Trust in 1990 and acted as Secretary from 1993. This came to an end when FAT was wound up in 2012 and upon the formation of the Francis and Maisie Pryor Charitable Trust of which Garner is a founder member.
