Richard was a respected member of the Fenland Archaeological Trust, where he contributed as Trustee, Vice Chair and Chair, all on a voluntary level.

He was an influential founding member of the FMPCT and was Chairman right up to the day he passed away in March 2019.

The Trust is deeply indebted to him and his family for their support over the years.

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him at the Trust and the legacy he encouraged will continue in greater strength because of the passion and commitment he always demonstrated.
