Leaving a Legacy

If you love the environment and want to leave a legacy after your death, then we can ensure that your wishes go exactly to the places that need it.

In general when an amount is left to ‘good causes’ a judgement is needed to decide what in real terms justifies a ‘good cause’. Most solicitors have a list of preferred beneficiaries but sometimes, the very thing you wanted to support can go unchecked and therefore end up going to a completely inappropriate organisation. By leaving a legacy direct with us at the FMPCT, we will oversee all monies pledged go direct as intended. We seek to support areas that cover the Environment, Ecology, Archaeology and Heritage sectors. We are here to ensure that the sums you leave will go directly to worthy projects within those areas, areas you feel most passionate about and ones we know through vetting will make a positive difference.

Our brochure ‘Leaving and Enduring Legacy‘ explains just how we use your contribution to carry out your wishes. The FMPCT is a non-profit making organisation, we have no employees, we are run by passionate volunteers who want to ensure that the right projects are properly vetted to ensure that your contribution carries out exactly what you wanted in your lifetime. We fully carry out that vetting procedure internally. It is important for you to know that any contribution you pledge to us for use after your death will be carried out to fit the expectations of your wishes. We understand that we have a duty to fulfill and want your legacy to make a major difference to projects and causes linked with the environment.
